atija Bizjan (Slovenia, 1988) joined the Slovenian Philharmonic Choir, of which he is still a member, in January 2011. An award-winning soloist, he has performed in several operas, among others as Caronte in Monteverdi’s Orpheo, and as a soloist in performances at home and abroad.
He sang in the TENSO European Chamber Choir under Kaspars Putnins in 2014 and persued further studies in various seminars for vocal soloists in Salzburg and Burg Beeskow. In 2016 he took his Master’s Degree in (Opera) Singing at the Academy of Music in his birthplace Ljubljana. In that same year he was admitted to the Zürcher Sing-Akademie and ChorWerk Ruhr.
